I was wandering the aisles of Whole Foods (a store I absolutely despise but need to make use of from time to time) when I found myself in the cookie aisle. I love cookies. They always reel me in and tell me that if I eat more cookies, I will be a better person. As I was staring at the boxes of cookies in front of me, I saw the following:
I was intrigued. As you all know by now, I love vegan baking. It’s always nice to discover a brand that is known for being vegan. While I had never heard of Uncle Eddie’s before, I decided to give them a try because why the hell not? I bought these babies (along with the other goodies I was there to purchase and spend my 401k on) and took them home. I instantly fell in love upon eating one of them. They’re moist (yuck, hate that word) and good and don’t taste “healthy”. Are they good for you? Not so much. They pack about 150 calories per cookie. But they’re a good treat on a cheat day AND you’re not harming any animals in any shape or form by devouring these cookies.
Now I’m browsing their website.
